I met Joey the summer before high school.We became friends almost immediately and maintained a close friendship until the end. Really more like a brother than a friend.
Joey was strong, different, smart & interested (and interesting) …and so much fun to be around. He was extremely loyal.He was always there for my wife Lisa and my three daughters. He would do anything for us.
Many of us kept a strong bond from high school and on.Very fitting to post thoughts about Joey here.
Joey fought his Illness in a brave manner and until the end was enjoyable to be around. Worried more upon vists if there was beer or food for his family and friends than his condition.
He left a wonderful woman named Simona, her daughter Ariana and his children, Jenna and Jordan.
