I remember Michael as a bright, vivacious guy who had an awesome future ahead of him. I cannot remember the specifics associated with his passing - I believe it was Hodgkins or Leukemia. I also believe it happened early on, around the first couple of years of college. He will be forever young in my mind - and a little mischievious. He coined the politically incorrect nickname for me, "Lee," which was short for "Leroy" (inspired by my tan after a Christmas family vacation our freshman year). That memory just came to me. Michael, I will remember you and toast to your memory at the reunion.

I got a mesage fro Susan Loeff Stilwell telling me that Michael Grossman died in 1985 on his Birthday. So young...so sad...!

Michael was the king of Legos. Was at his house frequently, which was forever being remodeled. Always had a great time.
He died of a T- cell lymphoma to the best of my recollection. Died way to young, very bright and special friend.
