I received an email from Patrick's wife after Lori and I sent out a flyer to people we could not find. His wife, Barbara, told me that he passed away in 2003 from lung cancer, and that he was an "amazing man and husband". 

Barbara sent me the link to his memorial page. It is absolutely beautiful!
