Mitchell Paul Pomerantz, age 69, of Chicago, raised his family in Highland Park; beloved husband for 37 years of the late Debra “Debi” Pomerantz, nee Baron; loving father of Kori (Matthew Plumlee) Pomerantz and Harrison (Camellia) Pomerantz; adored PaPa of Soraya; devoted son of the late Bernard and the late Shirley Pomerantz; cherished brother of Ronald (Jackie) Pomerantz, Jules (Carol) Pomerantz, and Russell (Rhonda) Pomerantz; dear brother-in-law of Lisa (Scott) Schumer; treasured “Dog Dad” of Maizy. Mitch is now reunited with Debi. Mitch was a lover of music, played guitar and viola, was an avid White Sox fan, and spent his childhood in Glenview. He worked as an engineer and loved his vacations to the Caribbean and scuba diving.
